A FRAUD IN THE NEW LAW ON BIOLOGICAL. The new European law on the biological effect in early 2009, provides that a food can still be called organic and should be regarded and sold as such, even in the presence of a contamination up to 0.9% of organisms (GMOs GM).
Organic farmers are not in agreement on this aspect, which is imposed on them. One of the main prerogatives and one of the basic rules of biology and that is free from GMOs at all stages of creating a food, from seed to finished product. This prerogative of the biological world wants to keep intact, through its associations, and therefore, no matter what the law says, consider a non-organic food contaminated with GMOs. The only rule that is valid and eligible for GMOs in organic farming is zero tolerance. The biological
, as is well known, was born to oppose chemical pollution of soil, water, air, plants, animals, food, environment and man, and work together to create a harmonious environment agriculture. But pollution from genetic manipulation, promises to be vastly more serious than chemical pollution. An organic food contaminated with GMOs is pure nonsense that can only come into their minds at once "handled" as are the bodies that want to promote. Equally
totally opposed to contamination are the most consumers of organic products, which do not admit the presence of pollution from GMOs. And
opposed to GMOs is not only the growers and consumers of organic food, but also the vast majority of all consumers, even those of conventional food, as well as almost all of the diverse world of Italian agriculture, who wants to protect the quality and value of food made in Italy, which are absolutely world class, characterized by several quality marks.
Why was introduced this rule?! Certainly not to protect the organic world from accidental contamination by GMOs, as they would have us believe, but rather to add insult to injury and want to allow to pollutants out of paying damages in case of contamination. And 'that is all in favor of a law and a few huge multinational producers of GMOs, Monsanto in the head, and they wanted action and backed by lobbying the European institutions.
But European farmers, organic and non organic, in particular those Italians can not and do not want to sell products contaminated by GMOs, and request that the polluter is required to fully pay all damages. An organic farmer has a moral duty, according to his own ethics, to destroy their crops contaminated by GMOs, because they do not want to sell contaminated products, either as organic or as conventional, considering them dangerous to health and the public interest.
Consider also that the organic farmer is not subject only to the laws in Europe, but also to the specifications of biological management of the 'association of the protection of biological and adheres to which is controlled by the inspection bodies accredited compliance with such specifications. But no Biological Association of the rule accepts as valid even minimal contamination by GMOs. Not to mention the shops for organic food and consumer organizations do not accept in any case polluted GMO products. So the companies responsible for pollution of other crops through the cultivation of GM plants should be required to compensate all the more contaminated the crop damage done to the image of the infected farms, even for future sales.
And much more! It should also consider that the pollution of crop is also reflected in a permanent GM pollution of the ground, through the remains of plants that remain in it. THE BALLAD OF COEXISTENCE. Before this law the European institutions had already made a very serious action favorable to the cultivation of GMOs. The infamous European Commission (from our point of view the only way to an adjective), gave an indication of the governments to prepare and introduce laws that govern the "coexistence" of conventional crops, organic and GM, by submitting to the dictates of the corporate interests of GM, through blackmail 's World Trade Organization (WTO). The same committee has declared invalid the regional laws that prevent GM crops in their territory. This was the case, for example for the region (Le Marche)! One has to ask who authorized them to operate in other people's houses! And then we wonder why the people of Europe when they can vote are opposed to this kind of dictatorial European institutions (not really democratic institutions and to Europe)!
Farmers, organic and non organic argue that coexistence is not possible, given that pollution is also within many miles, through the action of pollinators and / or wind, as has already been amply demonstrated, and the fact that the comprehensive measures to prevent contamination, not only in the field, but also at later stages, would be substantial. It should also consider harvesting with combine harvesters, which, passing from one field to another should be thoroughly cleaned, as well as transport from the harvest to the next, the stockpiles, and all other operations that are precursors of contamination. Already there are problems in differentiating organic products from conventional ones, and they become worse with the addition of GM crops to be managed with more storage and different lines.
Coexistence between GM crop and other types of cultivation is not technically, economically and humanly possible, especially because the GM crops behave in practice as a killer for the rest that are on their way and around. The GM crop pest in other crops to make them disappear. Coexistence is a fable, you'd want to tell to fall asleep, but we prefer to remain alert.
pro GMO EU bureaucrats want us to believe that the possibility of growing GM plants is a matter of freedom. Each farmer should be free to choose whether to grow conventional or organic or genetically manipulated. Yet we know that you do not have all the rights available in your basket! Is there a right and freedom to kill others, rape, destroy them? At one and the same way there can be no right to grow GM food, when this law will seriously damage all other farmers off their land and, this time, the freedom to farm as they wish. Who takes off, then, the freedom to whom?! The king is naked and easily discovered the deception! We know that to break through the wall of popular opposition to GMOs, the major industry stakeholders are willing to pay well at first, those farmers who are fit for the game (except squeeze them later). GMO industries have played the European institutions a strong, constant and relentless action to promote their own interests, which led first to the approval of the terms on the "coexistence" and the recent provision of 0.9% in the new European laws on organic farming. But this is not enough. In any event, the opening European legislation has already made serious also in terms of consumption.

We are opposed because all the positive powers that are propagated from time to time by the GMO industry have always proved a false light of the facts and had only a purely advertising and propaganda. OUR PROPOSALS
In the premise we say that we welcome any initiative that makes a contribution to the fight against the cultivation and trade of GMOs. For our part, we proposed and requests that are specific to the various players involved in the matter of GMOs. In all organisms

Agriculture is the responsibility of regions, as well as public health. The issue of GMOs is fundamentally a problem of freedom and lack of genuine democracy, which in turn is a problem of concentration of money and power in few hands. If you only solve this problem, the concentration of money and wealth in few hands, you will automatically solve most social problems.
The European Commission wants to remove the states and regions the freedom to decide their production model, the freedom to determine the quality of its agricultural products and foodstuffs, the freedom to implement the precautions on the health of its citizens. The top-down co-existence between GM and traditional crops, affecting the regional autonomy and sovereignty in most areas of their competence.
In Italy has been recently approved a law on "Federalism" which still needs various other provisions to become operational. But at this point we ask: what stupid and pointless you are talking about federalism, the European Commission until completely undermines regional autonomy in most areas of competency of the regions?!
Our region (among others) has already enacted a law in 2005 prohibiting the cultivation and trade of GM products and has also spent considerable resources to define and register a trademark Quality Brands, also characterized by the absence of GMOs, but the Community EU wants to arbitrarily nullify all this from above. We ask whether this practice should be accepted or whether it should not be hard fought and boycotted for the collective!
